Collaborators in this Alliance have agreed that the outcomes of their round robin studies will be published freely via the peer review process, and otherwise made available. It is the policy of the Alliance that no findings, whether negative or positive, will be withheld for any purpose or under any circumstances. However, prior to publication, all findings (especially those likely to have widespread impact or public implications) will be checked by multiple partners of the Alliance for scientific accuracy.

The Alliance is primarily a collaboration of academic scientists, and intends neither to editorialize nor to become involved in policy or other issues. Nevertheless, if potentially negative findings emerge, efforts will be made to set them in as realistic a context as far as possible.
